The author takes a look at the layout and ergonomics of each cockpit and what the knobs and buttons do.  He invites people from the wide world of aviation to comment on many of the cockpits and this all adds depth.  The photography by Dan Patterson is superb.  The use of archive imagery is well managed and doesn’t distract from the main event.
