Road Trip to Vintage Wings.

Here with Mike Potter, founder of Vintage Wings of Canada.  I had the pleasure of interviewing Mike and fellow Vintage Wings display pilot Rob Erdos last Thursday at their Gatineau airport hanger.  The interviews are for an upcoming program on the Hawker Hurricane for Aerocinema.com.  The Hurricane in the background is the Mk IV version, the only one of its kind flying in the world.  The Mk IV’s wing was designed to accommodate bombs, rockets and two 40mm anti-tank guns, along with the standard quartet of 20mm cannon.  Mike and Rob provided us with some great insights into how the Hurricane flies and how it matches up with the other fighters in the Vintage Wings collection (P-40, P-51, Spitfire, and Corsair).  photo
